Voices

What people are saying about their daily ritual.

It’s become part of my morning without me even thinking about it. Two teaspoons with breakfast, done. Small thing, but it feels good to have one part of the day that’s just… consistent.
Barbara Gainesville, FL
No fishy taste, no capsules to remember. Just a quick pour with my eggs. I like that the bottle lasts almost a month, it’s an easy habit to keep.
Robert Orlando, FL
I keep the bottle right by the coffee maker so I never forget it. Three weeks in and it’s just a quiet, steady part of my routine now.

Alpha-linolenic acid is an omega-3 fatty acid classed as essential: the body cannot synthesize it, so it has to come from the diet. It is the omega-3 found in plants — seeds in particular — rather than in fish. One 10 mL serving of ESTRALA supplies 5 g of ALA.

It is the process ESTRALA uses to purify plant-based omega-3 from flaxseed oil and present its alpha-linolenic acid in a highly purified ethyl ester form. Each two-teaspoon serving provides 5 g of ALA, with no marine-derived ingredients.

The origin. ESTRALA is plant-based and derived from flaxseed oil, so it contains no fish, shellfish or other marine ingredients — and none of the marine odor or aftertaste that comes with them. Note that fish oils supply EPA and DHA, whereas a plant-based source supplies ALA; they are different omega-3 fatty acids.

Two teaspoons — 10 mL — once a day, with food. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving. At 250 mL per carton, that is 25 daily servings. Once opened, keep it refrigerated and consume it within 2 months.

ESTRALA is plant-based: its only listed ingredient is linseed (flaxseed) oil ethyl esters, and it contains no fish or other marine ingredients. If you follow a strict vegan diet and need full sourcing details, write to us.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigerate after opening, keep tightly closed and consume within 2 months after opening. The batch number and best-before date are printed on every carton.

Consult your healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, especially blood thinners, or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
